Beginner Camp 1

Edmonton Fencing Club's summer camp is the perfect opportunity for beginners to discover the exhilarating sport of fencing. Led by experienced coaches, our 4-day camp will cover the basics of footwork, blade work, and tactics through fun games and challenges. Participants will also learn fencing etiquette, safety rules, and how to compete in a friendly environment. In addition to improving physical fitness and coordination, fencing builds mental toughness, decision-making skills, and self-confidence. Our camp is designed to provide a safe and supportive environment for children to learn and grow while making new friends.

*9 am - 3 pm each day.

* Fencer should bring their own lunch and water bottle.

*All fencers should wear indoor non-marking running or court shoes while fencing. Lightweight athletic wear is recommended.

*Fencers must provide their own fencing gloves. A glove is worn only on the sword hand. All other fencing equipment is provided. Gloves can be purchased at the club.

*Please note that a camp may be canceled if there are fewer than 5 registrants**
